Farm Equipment

There is a huge variety of farm machinery available, fulfilling the many functions necessary in agriculture. A good example is manure spreader, which can be either ‘liquid’ or ‘dry’, referring to the type of manure itself, as well as ‘pull’ and/or ‘spray’, referring to how the fertiliser is distributed, and every combination of those terms is available as farm machinery, because the desirability of a particular type depends on the context of the job.

The tedder has a rotational system with thin ‘fingers’ or tines at the end which gather and disperse hay, or grass, as it travels. This allows grass to be spread thinner and more regularly, and means that green, even wet, grass can made into hay in the same day, creating hay that is more valuable.
